This year the festival will have a special focus on the music of Tchaikovsky, with Argerich scheduled to perform Tchaikovsky’s 1st concerto in the final concert. I was lucky enough to attend the first festival in 2002, although I unfortunately missed Martha's Schumann Concerto on the opening night as a train strike left me stranded in Milan!
